Telemarksfestvalen

10. – 12. August 2018

Telemarksfestivalen is an international folk festival at is held in Bø three days each summer. The festival was held the first time in 1990 and has been held every year since. Norwegian folk music is the basis, but there has also been certain amount of foreign artists on the program.

Notodden Blesfestival

2. – 5. August 2018

Notodden Blue Festal is the largest pure blues festival in Scandinavia and was held for the first time in 1988. The festival presents international, national and local performers and offers many experiences related to the music. Bluesecruise, concerts both inside and outside, jam sessions and the children’s blues festival are some of the things you can experience. There are set up extra buses between Bø and Notodden, so you can easily get back and forth.

Kartfestivalen

23. – 25. August 2018

The Kart Festival is a pop/rock festal. It was first held in 2005 and takes place at Gvarv, only 10 minutes from Bø Hotell. The festival was the world’s first full-ecological music festival, ie all food and drink is organic. The main area is in beautiful Farstad Park all the way down to the river in Gvarv.

Countryfestivalen Seljord

25. - 29. July 2018

The Nordic region’s largest country music festival with 25-30 thousand visitors the last weekend in July, only 30 minutes from Bø. Here you can experience big country music artists from the whole world. Artists such as Brad Paisley, Carlene Carter and Bobby Bare have previously played at the festival.

4. – 8. July 2018

The Swing Music Festival was held the first time in 2001 and has thousands of visitors eacear. 12 hours of nonstop music are played every day from 3 scenes in adition to several other activities and experiences you can participate.
